If you’re looking for a counselor who’s honest but kind, validating, and loves self-expression– then Kendra is your girl! She holds a deep desire to not only understand individuals, but to aid them towards their personal goals of self-growth. Her aim in counseling is to help create a supporting environment in sessions, characterized by mutual respect and engagement. She values advocating for client needs and desires and will fight with you and for you in order to achieve your best self!
Kendra helps navigate traumatic experiences with adaptability and courage. She provides a safe and nonjudgmental space to vent, process, and grow in session. With her experience in supporting individuals dealing with spiritual questioning, sexual identity, and various uncomfortable situations, Kendra is the perfect choice for those seeking self-understanding. She is a powerful guide through life's difficulties and will foster a supportive place where you can feel heard, validated, and empowered in making positive steps towards your goals.
Much like her approach to counseling, Kendra’s life is explorative and devoted to creativity. She loves practicing self-care through baking her latest random cravings, reading new books, visiting new restaurants with the people she loves. Her openness to life shines through her confident yet kind personality. As an Enneagram Type 8 with influences from Type 9 and an ENFJ personality type, she approaches therapy with a blend of assertiveness, empathy, and a deep desire for her client’s inner harmony. Through her personal experiences, Kendra is adept at navigating complex emotions and relationships with acceptance and skill. Past her professional role, Kendra finds her peace through play time with her cat, Crinkle, and exploring outside with her!
If you’re looking for a therapist who values collaboration, can balance honesty with respect, will encourage you through the hard decisions, and accept your truest self– Kendra is the counselor for you! With her own understanding of the healing processes and well-being, Kendra is a unique blend of caring and assertive. She is an incredibly valuable ally to have when you begin your journey towards growth and self-discovery.
