Meet Hanna – Real, Relatable Therapy for Life Transitions and Self-Discovery
If you’re looking for a therapist who is authentic, direct (but always empathetic), animated, and even a little humorous—Hanna might be just who you’ve been hoping to find. She brings a refreshingly down-to-earth approach to therapy, creating space where you can be completely yourself while still doing the deep work that healing requires. Hanna combines clinical insight with warmth, laughter, and an open heart—meeting clients exactly where they are while helping them move toward where they want to be.
Hanna is especially passionate about working with individuals navigating life transitions, whether that means adjusting to new roles, processing identity shifts, or coping with the anxiety and depression that often accompany big change. If you’ve ever felt lost in the in-between—like you’re no longer who you were, but not yet sure who you’re becoming—Hanna is here to help you find clarity, reconnect with yourself, and begin building a future that feels aligned and intentional.
In the therapy room, Hanna helps clients explore their emotions, develop lifelong coping tools, and make sense of the patterns and pain that have been holding them back. She views therapy as a journey—one that’s not about reaching perfection, but about showing up for yourself with honesty and curiosity. “Therapy is a space to learn, grow, and build the resilience to adapt to whatever life brings,” she says. Her sessions are both thoughtful and dynamic—giving you room to explore, feel, laugh, and heal all at once.
Hanna’s clients describe her as real, invested, and deeply human. She doesn’t believe in fluff—and that means you can expect both compassionate validation and gentle accountability as you move through the work together.
Hanna works with:
Individuals navigating major life transitions or identity shifts
Adults experiencing anxiety or depression tied to change and uncertainty
Clients who feel stuck, lost, or disconnected from themselves
Individuals who want a therapist who’s candid, creative, and genuinely present
Before stepping into the counseling field, Hanna’s experiences as a military spouse and sister to someone in recovery shaped her understanding of emotional complexity, cultural identity, and the strength it takes to seek support. She brings that same respect and empathy into every session.
Hanna earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and recently completed her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She’s currently finalizing a research thesis that she hopes to publish, further contributing to the accessibility and normalization of mental health care for all.
Outside the Therapy Room
Outside of her clinical work, Hanna finds peace and renewal through yoga and movement. Born and raised in Woodstock, IL (fun fact: it’s where Groundhog Day was filmed!), she carries a love for quirky hometowns, pop culture, and staying grounded in what matters most. As a proud military spouse, sister, and advocate for recovery, she’s no stranger to the resilience and transformation that comes from navigating life’s hardest seasons with grit and grace.
Known as “The Executive” (ESTJ) on the Myers-Briggs, Hanna brings structure, strength, and follow-through to her work—alongside her natural energy and humor. Clients often find that her presence balances emotional safety with the kind of motivating push that helps real change unfold.
