Meet Jill: Therapist & Assistant Clinical Director
If you’re looking for a therapist who listens deeply, brings grounded humor into the room, and isn’t afraid to challenge unhelpful thinking patterns—Jill may be the right fit for you. She brings a calming presence and a sharp insight to her work, offering both compassion and clarity in the therapy process.
Jill is passionate about helping teens and adults navigate the complicated terrain of mental health, particularly when it comes to anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and life transitions. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just trying to make sense of what's next, Jill provides a space that’s steady, nonjudgmental, and deeply supportive.
Her approach blends practical tools with meaningful insight. She helps clients uncover the root of emotional distress, identify internal and external obstacles, and build coping strategies that lead to more peace, self-advocacy, and connection. With a love for analogies and a gift for making hard things feel approachable, Jill meets you where you are—and helps you find where you want to go.
Working with Jill is about more than symptom relief—it’s about stepping into a fuller, freer version of yourself. She’s not just here to help you get by; she’s here to help you break generational cycles, advocate for your needs, and heal what’s been quietly weighing you down. Therapy with Jill is rooted in trust, honesty, and a belief that you don’t have to “have it all together” to begin.
Jill supports:
Teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, or grief
Individuals coping with PTSD or trauma histories
Clients in transition—emotionally, relationally, or professionally
Clients seeking a warm but direct therapist who balances empathy with strategy
Jill holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Advertising from Union University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Austin Peay State University. She was the first student to intern with TTCT and now serves as our Assistant Clinical Director, playing an active leadership role in team development and support. Her prior work experience includes time at the Department of Children’s Services and Skyline Madison Psychiatric Hospital, where she worked on both adolescent and adult units.
Outside of the Therapy Room
Jill brings her nurturing energy and love of humor into everyday life. She’s an ISFJ on the Myers-Briggs (The Nurturer) and an Enneagram 1w2—a mix of integrity, warmth, and fierce loyalty. Her Enneagram Tritype is 126, known as “The Supporter”. She’s a proud twin, loves clever British comedies, and her home office is decorated with intricate LEGO builds. Her three-legged rescue dog, Scout (aka “Scout the Tripawd”), often joins her in sessions as a registered therapy dog—helping trauma survivors feel safe and seen in their own healing journey.
