Biography:
If you need a good listener, Jill is the therapist for you! She is an easy-going, gentle soul, full of wisdom, and a great sense of humor. Jill received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Advertising from Union University. She graduated from Austin Peay State University with her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Prior to graduation, she served as our very first graduate intern! She’s passionate about working with a variety of clients especially those suffering from all forms of depression, anxiety, grief, general stressors, and life transitions. She’s not afraid to challenge those with unhelpful thinking patterns and seeks to help her clients build coping skills to find more peace in life. Her previous experience includes working for The Department of Children’s Services as well as Skyline Madison-Psychiatric Hospital on both the adult and adolescent units. Jill also serves as our Assistant Clinical Director and is as an instrumental part of our Executive Leadership Team. Fun Facts: Jill has a twin (read about our other staff to see how many twins we have). She loves the show “The Office”, is an avid fan of Harry Potter, and the proud parent of a therapy dog! Scout aka “Scout the tripawd” is a 3-legged trauma survivor ready to assist Jill in helping other trauma survivors! Jill is an Enneagram 1w2 (with a high 6 in her tritype) and her Myers-Briggs Type is ISFJ aka “The Nurturer”.
