Scout, “The Tripawd” Therapy Dog
Meet Scout!!
3-legged Warrior & Healer!
Scout was born in December 2019, and before April of 2020, we aren’t really sure of her history. What we do know is that she had an unfortunate run-in with a car that led to her leg being amputated. The cone she was wearing in her adoption photo was what caught Jill’s attention, and once she contacted the rescue, it was a match made in heaven. While she still struggles with fears around cars (naturally.. trauma affects animals too), Scout doesn’t let that slow her down!
Scout LOVES to run and play with any toy that has a squeaker. She is friendly, curious, playful, and very energetic. When she isn’t outside running in the yard, Scout loves to cuddle, to be petted, and to watch TV.
She started training in a therapy dog program in August 2020 to prepare to be the best therapy dog she can be! She (and Jill) are very excited to work together to help others in the future! Scout is a Hufflepuff, an Enneagram 3 and her Myers-Briggs Type is ESFJ, aka “The Consul.” To follow Scout’s journey, check her out on Instagram @scout_the_tripawd
