Biography:
Azia is authentic, compassionate, and affirming. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Vanderbilt University. She went on to obtain her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Austin Peay State University. She chose this profession to empower clients to build stronger bonds, navigate challenges, and cultivate resilient futures. Azia has experience working with children and youth working in a variety of roles. Using an empowerment model, Azia helps children, adolescents, and their families to overcome obstacles, foster emotional well-being, improve communication, and develop stronger connections. Her hobbies include a love for live music or concerts, and enjoying her role as a dog mom to “Chocolate Chip”, her husky poodle. Fun Fact: Azia is a former student of ASMSA (Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts), which is one of just seventeen public residential high schools in the nation, and the first and only of its kind in Arkansas! Azia is an enneagram 3 and her Myers-Briggs Type is ISFP, the “Adventurer.” Her enneagram tritype is 693, also known as “The Mediator”.
